Sustainability Consultant

The Environmental Sustainability Lead is responsible for driving the implementation of all ongoing and upcoming ISO certifications, including ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management), ISO 45001:2018 (Occupational Health & Safety), ISO 50001:2018 (Energy Management), ISO/IEC 22237-1 (Data Center Facilities), and ISO 14644-1 (Cleanroom Standards).

The role also involves integrating guideline-based ISOs such as ISO 14031 (Environmental Performance Evaluation) and ISO 19011 (Auditing Management Systems), and Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) into the organization’s operational framework. The role provides technical guidance, promotes sustainability initiatives, and ensures alignment with organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the implementation of all missing and ongoing ISO standards to achieve certifications for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 14644-1, ISO 50001, and ISO/IEC 22237-1.
• Embed guidelines such as ISO 14031 and ISO 19011, and SBTi targets into organizational procedures, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals.
• Conduct audits and support environmental performance evaluations, integrating energy and environmental management systems.
• Ensure the non-disclosure of confidential information to unauthorized personnel, following organizational protocols and after employment.
• Authority to design, revise, and propose updates to the organization’s sustainability-related operational frameworks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external vendors and auditors regarding Environmental ISO certifications, SBTi targets, and guidelines implementation.
• Develop and deliver training sessions to staff on adhering to relevant ISO guidelines and procedures.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in implementing ISO standards or related roles.
• Strong understanding of Environmental ISO standards (certifiable and guideline-based) and SBTi frameworks.
• Knowledge of environmental management systems and sustainability principles.
• Audit and reporting expertise.
