Support Advisory Specialist

Your role

We are looking for the Support Advisory Specialist. As support advisory, you gather and analyze information and use it to create documentation for the customer, both for pilots, system operators, and technicians. You will work independently, as well as in a group of colleagues. Your role requires frequent contact with the customer and other Saab project members.

Your profile

You are a fast learner and you have the ability to convey factual information clearly and concisely. You find it easy to understand complex products and advanced technology. You might have a Master of Science degree, or a degree in Technical Communication. You are passionate about making information accessible to others. You have excellent communication skills, both in speech and in writing, and you are fluent in English.

As a person, you are curious, solution-oriented, and good at organizing your work. In projects, you contribute with focus and engagement, social skills, and a high level of ambition.

To succeed in this role, you need:

• An excellent ability to quickly understand complex products and operations
• Enjoy working in a military environment
• Understand the military rank of management
• An excellent ability to cooperate in teams
• Excellent language skills
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office

It is preferable if you also have:

• Experience of aviation operations
• Experience of writing structured technical information
• Experience of Simplified Technical English (STE)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection.

What you will be part of

Saab Middle East, a subsidiary of Saab AB, provides a wide range of services and integrated support solutions to the United Arab Emirates Armed Forces for cost-efficient support of systems and platforms throughout their life cycle. You will be part of an operational support team in the AEW (Airborne Early Warning) Project.
