Job description

This job holder will be responsible for executing Initial allocations & Replenishments using PARX tool to ensure stock availability is maintained across stores. The holder will also be responsible for driving the business of the category in the given markets by understanding the store dynamics.

Allocation Process:

  1. Review Range plans for initial allocation utilizing sales volumes ranking, store clustering, territory and current planned events.
  2. Understand and upload the Range plans via PARX (MDQ, SC, Ranging, IA and Buy plan) based on product attributes such as fashion items, collections, basics and continuity.
  3. Approve Min Max for Replenishment using PARX and maximize opportunities by store.
  4. Markdown planning in collaboration with demand team and promotion uploads.
  5. Monitor and report on department/location/style performance.
  6. Attend weekly allocation meetings to rebalance the product in stores to maximize sales and margin.
  7. Manage the terminal stock of items based on seasonality.
  8. Manage the fulfilment for new store opening, renovations, relocations, new store set up and analysis.
  9. Manage the allocation of clearance and sale items to maximize the clearance of old stock.
  10. Consolidation of stocks to improve sell throughs.

Commerciality:

  1. Perform sales/store analysis in order to properly maintain inventory levels and identify selling trends including communicating action plans to the planning team.
  2. Analyse reports and make recommendations regarding stock distribution using forecast sales trends.

Customer:

  1. Conduct regular store visits in order to review stock status and receive feedback from store teams.
  2. Work closely with suppliers, distribution Centre and stores regarding deliveries.
  3. Liaise with the warehouse teams, territory managers, the Visual merchandisers and Buying team to discuss stock issues and communicate/recommend necessary action to be taken.
  4. Manage time and must be self-motivated and driven to consistently hit deadlines.

Qualifications:

  1. Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training: Graduate degree in any field.
  2. Advanced Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training: Certifications in courses related to planning is preferred.
  3. Minimum Experience: 3+ years of retail experience.
  4. Specific / Relevant Experience: Retail planning.
