Supply Planner

Job Overview

As a Supply Planner, you will have an overall accountability for Purchase Order (PO) placement, inbound fill rates and performance, receipt/PO tracking, forecasting & planning, vendor engagement/relation management. This role is crucial in ensuring the right products are available across our retail outlets, online platform and B2B channel.

Job Responsibilities

1. Responsible to purchase products materials from both local or overseas vendors.
2. Evaluate vendors' quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required.
3. Advise internal and external stakeholders on issues regarding purchasing Terms & Conditions.
4. In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders (PO) delivery and supplier out of stocks.
5. Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors.
6. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, quantity, delivery time and best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectations.

Key Requirements

1. At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail, e-commerce, or the pet care industry.
2. Diploma or degree in Procurement or a related certification.
3. Proficient in English with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
5. Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
6. Skilled in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAP and Slim4 is a plus.
7. Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently.
8. Detail-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
