About the role:
Handling the overall Supply planning activities for JA RDC, in coordination with demand planning, sales team, category management, and all involved departments to ensure a healthy forecast accuracy and to secure the requested product availability for MEA countries from POD Jebel Ali.
Responsible for MRP controlling for JA RDC.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Initiate, own, and influence availability at RDC JA for planned demand via APO as well as programmed orders.
- Special attention to secure complete delivery of project channel orders as per committed MAD.
- Prepare and manage forecasting process within APO with effective participation in S&OP meetings.
- Responsible for MRP operations with effective control on replenishment orders & daily follow-up with supplying plants / CDC to secure committed availability.
- Monitor backlog and engage in timely escalations to help deliver on business commitments.
- Analyze business trends to identify emerging issues and opportunities.
- Support in launch planning with timely securing availability ahead of product launches.
- Evaluate & discuss rolling value planning with market leaders and controllers.
- Participate in the financial & inventory planning process.
- Comply with laws, rules & regulations & meet cost, productivity, accuracy & timelines targets.
- Identify excess stocks and secure liquidation plan with relevant stakeholders (sales, demand planning, demand balancing by switching availability to other POD’s).
- Drive KPI related to DIO (Days Inventory Outstanding).
- Identify and implement lean projects for the planning and forecasting processes.
- Drive safety stocks and replenishment settings for A cats and B cats SKU’s and determine MTS/MTO strategy.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain.
Strong decision making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Experience:
Proven working experience of 3-5 years in the same or similar position.
- Knowledge:
- Good understanding of product life cycle.
- Expertise in MRP and supply planning roles.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Working with SAP / APO is an added advantage.
