Job description

Logistics

  1. Deploy as per group internal standards for Logistics and, where applicable, define and implement processes, procedures and supporting systems for logistics management.
  2. Oversee handling of incoming international shipments, including customs clearance and transportation to relevant site(s), following our internal secured transportation guidelines.
  3. Oversee local deliveries of equipment, spare parts and consumables goods considering their sensitivity, including:
    1. Delivery of equipment and spare parts.
    2. Delivery of consumables/dangerous goods on forecasts to ensure operational continuity.
  4. Prepare and book export shipments based on inputs received from Headquarters, including customs clearance and transportation to the departure airport, following our internal secured transportation guidelines.
  5. Maintain up-to-date information on:
    1. Local import and export requirements.
    2. Local regulations transport of dangerous goods.
  6. Elaborate a delivery plan between 2 O&S sites.

Forecasting

  1. Elaborate a supply plan (rolling 6-months forecasting for paper, consumables, spare parts and liquids needs).
  2. Communicate forecasts to SICPA SA and/or local suppliers to support their planning.

Procurement

  1. Ensure the timely and complete fulfillment of the company’s needs by purchasing from SICPA SA and/or qualified suppliers, including issuing POs to the selected vendors once the PRs are approved.
  2. Maintain a database of vendors with ratings and performance indicators.
  3. Local deployment of processes as per group internal standards for Procurement.
  4. Ensure category specific buying approach is aligned to the overall procurement strategy.

Status Reporting

  1. Provide regular, detailed status reports to the Finance & Admin Manager on all activities in the Supply Chain domain.

PROFILE

  1. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Procurement / logistics management.
  2. Deep knowledge of supply chain management, procurement, and logistics best practices.
  3. Successful experience implementing and operating supply chain, procurement, and logistics best practices in similar business environments.
  4. Strong organizational, planning and forecasting skills.
  5. Experience with Microsoft office tools (Excel / Word / PowerPoint).
  6. Technical background (Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Mechanical Engineering, etc.).
  7. Excellent interpersonal skills, innovative and good influencing skills.
  8. Team oriented.
  9. Ability to work under pressure.
  10. Demonstrated ownership of responsibilities.
  11. Customer oriented attitude.
  12. Focus on quality and results.
  13. Good written and verbal communication.
  14. Meticulous, administrative in nature, very deadline conscious.
  15. Willingness to work hands-on and handle significant administrative tasks.
  16. Organized and efficient.
