Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take charge of the entire supply chain function within this thriving organisation. This key role will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers. The successful candidate will oversee warehouse operations, fleet management, and supply chain optimisation initiatives, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to support the company's ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supply Chain Management: Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer expectations.
2. Warehouse Oversight: Manage warehouse operations, focusing on inventory control, order fulfilment, and storage optimisation to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
3. Fleet Management: Supervise fleet operations, ensuring timely delivery of products while maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
4. Supply Chain Optimisation: Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations, reduce lead times, and enhance overall performance.
5. Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the supply chain.
6. Performance Metrics: Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
7. Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of supply chain strategies that support the company's growth and investment plans.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in supply chain management, ideally within the food manufacturing sector.
3. Strong knowledge of logistics, warehouse management, and fleet operations.
4. Proven ability to optimise supply chain processes and drive operational improvements.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
6. Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
7. Proficient in supply chain software and ERP systems.
