The Supply Chain Manager coordinates, organizes, and oversees all activities involved in the identification, acquisition, production, and distribution of the company’s goods.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in order management, planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
Lead the procurement department, oversee a group of buyers, and manage the annual budget.
Ensure timely order fulfillment to meet monthly sales targets.
Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective supply chain.
Establish performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting the supply chain.
Lead the planning team; manage all order to delivery KPIs, Material Requirements Planning (MRP) review with planners, and Demand and Supply review with key stakeholders.
Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory.
Maintain required quantities of supplies and materials to optimize production.
Analyze current inventories and procedures; suggest improvements to increase efficiency of the supply chain and profitability for the company.
Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety; implement subsequent changes to processes.
Identify optimal shipment and transportation routes with attention to the consolidation of warehousing and distribution.
