Supply Chain Manager

The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world-class service.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and execute new improved supply chain strategies over procurement, inventory, and logistics.
2. Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the senior management team of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency.
3. Contribute to maintaining policies, procedures, and workflows for collecting and reporting key metrics that will reduce overall expenses while increasing productivity.
4. Must have strong services and product knowledge of road construction projects.
5. Negotiate, execute, and manage regional agreements.
6. Perform spend analysis to identify and target opportunities for potential savings or improved service quality.
7. Purchase materials and services required.
8. Develop alternative sources, ensuring continuity of supply, consistency of quality, and competitive pricing.
9. Advise management of market conditions and supplier base activity, which could affect pricing and/or delivery.
10. Participate in strategic development and implementation projects and participate as assigned on special projects.
11. Influence and contribute to the supply chain strategy and technology roadmap.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
2. Must be certified in one of the professional SC diplomas: CIPS, CSCP, or CPIM.
3. Minimum of 15 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in the road construction industry.
4. Strong knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
5. Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
