Job Description:

To oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain operations. Lead procurement, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution functions to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals, ultimately driving operational excellence, supporting business growth, and enhancing the organization's competitive edge.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Forecast supply chain needs based on market trends, sales forecasts, and company growth.

• Develop and implement policies for effective inventory control to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and optimize stock levels based on demand forecasts.
• Implement and monitor inventory tracking systems to ensure real-time visibility and accuracy.

• Design and optimize warehouse layouts to improve storage efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within all warehouse facilities.
• Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing activities.

• Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with company policies.

• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives in storage, inventory handling, and warehouse operations.
• Analyze space utilization and negotiate with warehouse service providers to maximize value.

• Manage transportation and distribution networks to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Optimize routing, shipping methods, and carrier selection for cost-effectiveness.
• Address and resolve logistics challenges promptly.

• Lead and mentor a high-performing supply chain and logistics team.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Set performance objectives and conduct regular evaluations.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare detailed reports for management.
• Use data analytics to drive decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
• Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in supply chain management.

• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations, including import/export laws.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain to avoid disruptions.
• Implement sustainability initiatives to align with corporate social responsibility goals.

Desired Candidate Profile:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
2. Proven experience in supply chain and logistics management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role.
3. Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory, and distribution.
4. Proficiency in supply chain software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
5. Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
6. Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities.
7. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in supply chain operations.
