We are now looking for another team mate to join us in Ras Al Khaimah as Supply Chain Coordinator.


  • Please note: This is a 3-month contract only for a maternity cover based in Ras Al Khaimah.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Coordinate inbound Supply Chain for all raw materials and Merchandise products from suppliers together with the Procurement team – local and global.
  • Liaise with Freight forwarders/transporters to formulate cost comparisons for all products with a cost savings approach.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely end to end delivery of goods and ensure all documentation is received in full prior to the goods arrival.
  • Monitor purchase requisitions and expedite as necessary to meet production schedules and report any supply chain issues.
  • Together with Procurement and Production to track and maintain raw material inventory levels, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Assist Procurement team, when necessary, to prepare purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and process the outbound toll claim process closely liaising with transporters and RAKEZ relevant departments.
  • Maintain positive relationships with suppliers, terms, and pricing to achieve cost-effective procurement outcomes.
  • Generate reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings.
  • Analyse procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
  • Close Collaboration with Procurement, Logistics and Production teams to ensure continuity of information flow within the Supply chain.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier non-compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross department heads to remain aligned with vision and strategy.
  • Keeping track of purchase orders and invoices to ensure that all invoices have been paid. Assist the Procurement Lead/ Engineer with all stages of the procurement process when required.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as assigned by the Supply Chain Manager.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Logistics, Procurement or Purchasing roles within the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
