Supervisor Logistics Senior ARZ

Job Specific Accountabilities:

1. Assign berth for the vessels & barge calling service harbors in coronation with Port control/Radio room Control.
2. Supervision of all vessels/barges movement (Entering/Departing and Berthing/Un-berthing).
3. To carry out Permit to work duties, including area inspections, as authorized signatory where permitted.
4. To ensure adherence to a safe system of work for all activities within service harbors in accordance with operational needs and permit requirements.
5. Providing onsite supervision of cargo operations to ensure safe and efficient operation maintained in accordance to work permit conditions.
6. Supervising and conducting safety check list for vessels loading & discharging fuel.
7. Carrying out frequent safety, operational & housekeeping inspections within harbor.
8. Ensure HSE policy, procedures, regulations and objectives are effectively implemented.
9. Other duties as directed by Marine Team Leader.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Marine Certification (minimum 1st Mate) with a minimum of 2 years as a senior officer on board vessels with experience of operations and maintenance at oil terminals.
2. At least 5 years of work experience in the logistics function within oil and gas industry.
3. Minimum of 3 years' experience as an officer serving on oil tankers.
4. Very good knowledge of the English language. Some spoken Arabic would be an advantage.

Responsibilities:
Plan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives. Train and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient in their job and deliver the respective section objectives.
