Supervisor Landscape

Job Purpose:

• The Landscape Supervisor should have knowledge of plants (Shrubs, Ground Cover, Trees, Seasonal Flowers, and Desert Plants) and irrigation system repair & maintenance.
• The Landscape Supervisor should have experience in the installation of plants and irrigation systems.
• The Landscape Supervisor should have experience in maintaining the landscaping at a superior level.
• The Landscape Supervisor shall organize the manpower on site and implement the working schedules.
• The Landscape Supervisor is fully responsible for maintaining the landscaping at a superior level.

Roles, Responsibilities, Duties:

• Responsible for the day-to-day landscape operations on assigned sites.
• Responsible for establishing daily goals and target deadlines for the team.
• Responsible for helping the team with conflict resolution and educating the team on how to constructively solve problems.
• Responsible for implementing landscape PPM in the field, checking for and ensuring safe working conditions.
• Responsible for identifying enhancement opportunities and preparing enhancement proposals for individual and corporate clients.
• Responsible for preparing monthly operational reports, PPM checklists, and other documents as needed or directed.
• Responsible for preparing snag reports and WCR for all projects.
• Prepare and maintain training records.
• Responsible for maintaining the plants and irrigation system at superior levels.
• Responsible for providing technical training to the team & team leaders.
• Provide equipment training to the relevant field staff.
• Responsible for ensuring client satisfaction on sites under the guidance of the Landscape Manager, while always striving for continuous improvement.
• Responsible for ensuring proper use, storage, and conservation of equipment & consumables.
• Responsible for providing a quick response onsite in case of an emergency.
• Responsible for preparing time sheets and keeping daily attendance records for all technical staff.
• Assist in increasing the business size and profitability.

Education & Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor of Science in landscape management, horticulture, or relevant discipline.
• Professional certification in Landscaping and Agriculture Maintenance.
• Assembling and dismantling of scaffolding certificate.
• Certified from Abu Dhabi and Dubai Municipality to operate Pest Control Services.

Experience:

• 4-8 years of experience in soft and hard landscaping.
• Knowledge of Workplace Health and Safety (WH&S) practices and policies.
• Experience of safe working practices, risk assessments, method statements, permit-to-work systems, and water treatment management.
• Ideally experienced in working with residential & commercial/retail properties.
