Job description

Conduct troubleshooting on LV/HV electrical equipment and systems and decide on the corrective action, ensuring that the right maintenance is done on the equipment needing repair.
Supervise installation, repair, and maintenance jobs on a wide variety of LV/HV electrical equipment and systems covering all plants on site.
Monitor work execution, checking quality and following up on work progress to ensure completion on time.
Monitor and inspect the work of electrical maintenance contractors conducting works on the LV/HV electrical equipment and systems to ensure compliance with specified terms and parameters.
Ensure that the Borouge electrical safety procedures, vendor/OEM instructions, HSE requirements, etc., are available and followed by the job execution group.
Inspect completed jobs for conformity to statutory and company standards and regulations and ensure quality records are filled and stored.
Regularly inspect the workshops and other workplaces used by the team, looking for good housekeeping and proper organization.
Review regularly the tools distributed to the team, ensuring the return of non-permanent tools on time and that all needed tools are available for job execution.
Ensure that all team members have the proper PPEs and adhere to HSE rules, and effectively manage all waste.
Perform regular toolbox talks to pass all types of information to the team of technicians, such as HSE&Q and HR-related updates, daily activities, etc.
Discuss the daily maintenance and start-up schedule with the planners and operation teams to ensure optimum use of resources such as time, material, and labor.
Ensure execution of scheduled pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up maintenance and troubleshooting activities on large and complex equipment to ensure proper operating conditions of company assets and adherence to international standards.
Coordinate and provide technical support to shift personnel for any requirements related to the job.
Provide day-to-day instructions for safe job execution.
Supervise electrical maintenance jobs for the assigned plant area with objectives to minimize failures, reduce pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up delays, and ensure equipment reliability and availability.
Perform visual, close, and detailed inspections of installed LV/HV electrical equipment and systems.
Observe and approve functional tests, equipment run tests, etc.
Participate in safety audits and area walk-downs as part of the acceptance list for the start-up.
Review and approve procurement of required spare parts based on equipment criticality analyses.
Receive and physically inspect delivered spare parts.
