Update daily site progress and monitor the performance of subordinates and work distribution.
Meet operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying construction management system improvements.
Manage construction budget by monitoring project expenditures, identifying variances, implementing corrective actions, and providing non-project annual operating and capital budget information.
Manage sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting sub-contractors; monitoring and controlling performance.
Prevent fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing codes.
Update working knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging construction practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Implement policies and procedures for effective and efficient functioning of the project survey team on site.
Responsible for the running of the project construction team (mobilisation, execution, deliverables, and project close out).
Responsible for the quality control and quality assurance of construction data, field checks, and construction progress reports.
Oversee the staffing of the project and advise the Construction Manager and Project Manager regarding personnel requirements or improvements.
Support, advise, and facilitate the Site Project Team in construction and operational matters.
Report all construction activities via the Weekly Report to the Construction Manager (Personnel, Equipment, Activities, and Planning).
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

Ensure that the HSE requirements are observed in the execution of all construction activities.
Provide guidelines to the Surveyors on the projects regarding QA/QC and HSE reports/recommendations.
