What You'll Do On a Typical Day

• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization standards, adhering to legal regulations.
• Carry out company health & safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with other teams/supervisors/managers to ensure consistent, efficient and working practices.
• Co-ordinate with laboratory and lifting bodies for NDT testing and load testing of lifting equipment and lifting accessories.
• Assisting the QHSE Team Leader for the development of health, safety and environmental systems.
• Responsible for installing and maintaining health, safety and environmental systems.
• Monitor the performance of the health, safety and environmental systems and advice QHSE Team Leader with recommendations.
• Responsible for doing inspections and enforce adherence to laws, regulations, PERI L.L.C policies and procedures for the health and safety of employees.
• Conduct HSE Training for stockyard workers.
• Coordinate with Fire Safety Maintenance company for regular maintenance and system upgrades.
• Assist QHSE Team Leader in conducting risk assessments and HSE audits.

What You'll Need To Be Successful

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent degree and/or QHSE and Quality.
• With minimum 3 years experience in related field.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Must have a valid UAE Driving license.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Strong work ethic, open and reliable.
• Good organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the PERI culture.
• Trustworthy, honest, punctual and attention to details.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
• Promote a safe work environment.
