Cornerstone Recruitment MENA is managing an exciting opportunity for a Studio General Manager to join a prominent real estate developer based in Dubai. This is a key leadership role, responsible for overseeing the operations of the firm's in-house creative and branding studio, ensuring excellence in design and delivery for projects across the MENA region.
As the Studio General Manager, you will lead the creative vision, manage daily studio operations, and align the studio's output with the company's strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of managerial, financial, and technical expertise, with a background in architectural visualization, branding, and real estate marketing.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations Management:
- Oversee daily operations of the in-house creative studio, including resource planning, project assignments, and team performance.
- Drive talent acquisition to attract and retain top creative talent, fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment.
- Act as a key liaison between the studio and senior management, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage financial strategies for the studio, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Implement measures to enhance project profitability, optimize resource allocation, and mitigate risks.
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring the studio remains a cost-effective, value-adding component of the business.
Creative & Technical Direction:
- Set the creative and technical standards for the studio, ensuring all outputs meet the developer's high standards for quality and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and integrate cutting-edge visualization and branding technologies.
- Ensure that all projects align with the developer's brand identity and support the company's market positioning.
Strategic Initiatives & Business Development Support:
- Lead initiatives to enhance the studio's role in supporting the company's growth, from marketing campaigns to project launches.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and exhibitions to showcase its creative capabilities and build brand visibility.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and development, to align studio deliverables with business objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Design, Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
- A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in creative studio management or a similar role within the real estate sector.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proven expertise in architectural visualization, branding, and design tailored to real estate development and marketing.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing and mentoring diverse creative teams.
- Strong understanding of the regional real estate market, particularly in high-end and luxury developments.
- Proficiency in project management and design tools, with a commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
