Job Title: Structural Steel Fabricator (Entry-Level to Expert)

Job Overview:

We are looking for Structural Steel Fabricators at all experience levels to join our team. Whether you are just starting your career or have years of expertise, this role offers opportunities for skill development and career advancement. The Structural Steel Fabricator will be responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and welding structural steel components for construction, industrial, and commercial applications.

Key Responsibilities (Based on Experience Level)

Entry-Level (Trainee/Helper):

1. Assist senior fabricators in cutting, measuring, and assembling steel components.
2. Learn to read and interpret basic blueprints and fabrication drawings.
3. Operate basic hand tools, grinders, and measuring instruments.
4. Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.
5. Receive on-the-job training in welding and metalworking techniques.

Junior-Level (1-3 Years Experience):

1. Read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
2. Operate fabrication tools, including cutting torches, grinders, and drill presses.
3. Perform basic welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) under supervision.
4. Fit and assemble steel components according to project specifications.
5. Conduct quality checks to ensure accurate measurements and structural integrity.

Senior-Level (3-5 Years Experience):

1. Independently fabricate structural steel components from blueprints.
2. Perform advanced welding techniques and oversee complex assemblies.
3. Train and mentor junior and entry-level fabricators.
4. Operate and maintain heavy fabrication machinery.
5. Troubleshoot fabrication issues and suggest improvements in processes.
6. Ensure compliance with industry standards and company safety regulations.

Expert-Level (5+ Years Experience):

1. Lead fabrication projects, from planning to final assembly.
2. Supervise fabrication teams and coordinate with engineers and project managers.
3. Handle complex welding and structural modifications with precision.
4. Perform final inspections and quality control checks.
5. Develop and implement advanced fabrication techniques for improved efficiency.
6. Ensure compliance with AWS, ASME, and other industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Varies by Level)

General Requirements for All Levels:

1. Strong understanding of metal fabrication and welding processes.
2. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and shop drawings.
3. Knowledge of workplace safety and proper handling of materials.
4. Physically capable of handling heavy materials and working in industrial environments.

Preferred (Varies by Experience Level):

1. Welding certification (AWS, ASME) for senior and expert levels.
2. Experience with CNC machines, plasma cutters, and press brakes.
3. Leadership and project management skills for senior and expert roles.
