Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented immediately available Structural Inspector - Site to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and safety of construction projects through comprehensive on-site inspections and evaluations.

1. Conduct thorough on-site inspections of structural elements in building projects throughout Dubai
2. Verify compliance with local building codes, regulations, and approved plans specific to Dubai and the UAE
3. Identify structural defects, safety hazards, and non-compliant work with a keen analytical eye
4. Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate records using efficient data management systems
5. Review and interpret technical drawings, and specifications with precision
6. Provide well-reasoned recommendations for corrective actions when necessary
7. Stay updated on local building codes, international standards, and industry best practices
8. Participate in project meetings and communicate findings clearly to relevant stakeholders
9. Organize and prioritize multiple inspection tasks to meet project deadlines
10. Experience in both Concrete construction and Steel Construction is preferred

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural inspection or a related field
3. Knowledge of regulations, particularly those specific to Dubai and the UAE
4. Proficiency in structural inspection techniques and methodologies
5. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
6. Extensive knowledge of construction materials and methods
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
8. Computer skills for efficient report writing and data management
9. Comprehensive understanding of structural engineering principles and practices
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
11. Ability to work efficiently and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
12. Willingness to work on-site and travel to various project locations in Dubai
13. Familiarity with international structural inspection standards
14. Adaptability to changing project requirements and construction environments
