Structural Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities: Structural Engineer has to maintain and update the record of electronic design documents as per Veetech internal procedure. He has to ensure the design, analysis and report generation activities are done within the specified time-frame and to review the generated deliverables initially with respect to the client specifications/ comments, codes and standards.

1. Design and analyze structures in Stadd Pro with respect to specifications, codes, and standards.
2. Gather Design inputs from Project & design team.
3. Prepare a weight list & Loading lists in excel.
4. Perform Foundation Bolt calculations.
5. Perform Lifting lug & Spreader beam calculations.
6. Create detailed analysis & report for the package structure.
7. Collaborate with Client, Inter discipline teams & Third-party vendors as necessary.
8. Review and approve design changes and modifications.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural engineering.

Desired Candidate profile:

1. Proficient in StaddPro with Minimum 5 years of Structural design experience.
2. Experience in structural design for integrated packages.
3. To be able to perform Sea & Road transport analysis.
4. Well versant in international codes ASCE, IBC & EN.
5. Well versant in Material standards ASTM, BS & EN.
