Structural Draughtsman Oil Gas

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Draughtsman to join our client's team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This is a full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

As a Structural Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for structural components and systems in the Oil & Gas industry. You must have a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry with a strong background in fabrication, modular building, and EPC projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create detailed technical drawings and plans for structural components and systems in the Oil & Gas industry.
2. Collaborate with engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings.
3. Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
4. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Prepare material takeoffs and assist with procurement activities.
6. Participate in site visits and provide support during construction and installation phases.
7. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.
8. Keep up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology related to structural drafting.

Requirements:

1. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
3. Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software.
4. Strong knowledge of fabrication, modular building, and EPC projects.
5. Experience with structural calculations and analysis.
6. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
7. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
9. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
10. Willingness to travel for site visits and project meetings.
