Structural BIM Technician

As a Structural BIM Technician, you will play a crucial role in the development and documentation of structural designs using BIM software. You will work closely with our project managers, engineers, and designers to produce accurate and detailed BIM models for a variety of building projects. Your technical skills and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the success of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Create BIM models and prepare accurate and detailed drawings for structural designs using Revit or other BIM software.
2. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and designers to develop BIM models that meet project requirements and deadlines.
3. Perform clash detection and resolve any conflicts within the BIM model.
4. Coordinate designs with other disciplines, such as architectural and MEP models.
5. Generate accurate quantity take-offs for cost estimations.
6. Implement and maintain BIM standards and procedures.
7. Review and check BIM models for accuracy, completeness, and quality.
8. Keep up-to-date with the latest BIM tools, techniques, and software updates.

Qualifications:

1. Diploma or certificate in Civil/Structural Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
2. 2 years of experience as a BIM Technician, preferably in the structural engineering field.
3. Proficiency in BIM software, especially Revit.
4. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices.
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality work.
6. Proven ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with different disciplines.
7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
8. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
