Strategic Planner

Viola Communications is looking for a Strategy Planner to join our dynamic team and play a key role in shaping impactful advertising and communication strategies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and brand positioning to develop compelling strategies that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop data-driven communication and brand strategies that align with client objectives.
2. Conduct market research, audience insights, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities.
3. Collaborate with creative, media, and account teams to develop integrated marketing campaigns.
4. Analyze consumer behavior, cultural trends, and industry shifts to uncover key insights.
5. Use qualitative and quantitative research methodologies to support strategic recommendations.
6. Stay up to date with global and regional advertising trends, media landscapes, and emerging technologies.
7. Define brand positioning, tone of voice, and key messaging frameworks.
8. Develop campaign strategies that connect emotionally and rationally with target audiences.
9. Work closely with creative teams to ensure insights are translated into compelling storytelling.
10. Work closely with clients, account managers, and senior leadership to understand business objectives.
11. Support new business pitches and proposals with well-researched strategic frameworks.

Qualifications & Experience:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
2. 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, preferably in advertising, media, or marketing.
3. Strong analytical skills and experience in research, data analysis, and consumer insights.
4. Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
5. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, or other market research platforms.
6. A passion for creativity, advertising, and innovation in media strategies.
