Develop and execute stormwater management plans including the design and analysis of stormwater drainage systems, flood control solutions, and water quality measures.
Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling to simulate stormwater runoff, flooding scenarios, and drainage network performance.
Perform site assessments, collect relevant data, and evaluate existing stormwater infrastructure.
Create design drawings, reports, and technical documentation for stormwater infrastructure including storm drains, culverts, and retention ponds.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate stormwater solutions into larger site development projects.
Ensure compliance with local regulations including permitting and approvals processes.
Develop designs that adhere to the quality standards ensuring compliance with the company's QA/QC processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
5 to 8 years of experience in stormwater modeling and design.
Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software such as SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Strong understanding of hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater regulations.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
