What you will need to do:
- Manage the team of storekeepers and monitor all activities by following all procedures described in the stores operations manual.
- Ensure that Q.A. / Q.C. personnel approve and section head accepts and signs the delivery notes and/or invoices prior to stamping and receiving items purchased from the market.
- Avoid delays in clearance of cash invoices and issuance of stock items to the maximum extent.
- Supervise adherence to HSE rules and regulations and take necessary precautions while loading and unloading items in stores.
- Distribute jobs equally to all storekeepers.
- Ensure that backup of the system is scheduled on a daily basis.
- Ensure that stock items are located on shelves or in the yard in an organized and systematic layout, maintained as per company and manufacturer recommendations, and updated with all location numbers accordingly.
- Process all documents enabling timely monthly closing of store books and distribution of reports to management and all sections of the site.
- Supervise smooth operation of Physical Inventory during November every year and submit Variance Lists with justified explanations to management.
- Perform any other related duties as assigned.
What you will need to have:
- BSc. in any relevant discipline
- At least 10 years of related experience.
- O&G experience
- Computer literate
- Previous experience in Construction in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Proficient in the English language.
- Excellent organizational skills
- ERP/MRP warehouse management and logistics systems experience
