Job description
Responsibilities
- Check e-mails and respond to PMI & supplier queries.
- Update the chiller temperatures.
- Place orders for general, food & beverage items.
- Ensure cleanliness in beverage, wine, and general store.
- Check all the requisitions (REQ's) of all outlets.
- Manage store issues for morning outlets with labels on all spirits & wines with issued dates; receive (CCD), unload, and shelve supplies.
- Accept incoming products by signing delivery invoices and follow up for pending orders.
- Issue approved REQ's for evening outlets.
- Post all REQ's as per requisitions to their respective outlets.
- Cross-check inventory daily after everything is issued.
- Perform regular cleaning in store areas.
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom.
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies.
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning and credit note follow-ups.
- Cross-check physical stock at frequent intervals to avoid stock loss.
- Conduct month-end inventory for beverage, general, and tobacco store.
- Prepare stock turnover report.
- Calculate FOC for beverage deals.
- Track short expiry products.
- Follow FIFO and check compliance.
- Cross-check all posted requisitions and store POS.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Able to lift heavy materials, stand for long hours, and work under heat.
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management.
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment.
- Analytical mind with the ability to make accurate mathematical computations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time.
- Ability to safely and legally operate a forklift.
- Skills to operate common office equipment.
- Previous work experience in a hotel is a must.
