Job Description
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and stock movement.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored.
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Assist customers with their inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.
- Prepare items for shipment or delivery to customers.
- Perform regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Order new inventory and supplies as needed.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient store operations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Ensure proper handling of delicate and high-value MEP equipment.
- Coordinate with the procurement team to receive deliveries and verify materials against purchase orders.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or missing items immediately.
- Oversee the issuance of materials and equipment to project teams.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to different project sites as per schedules.
- Maintain proper records of material receipts, transfers, and dispatches.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of inventory management software.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
- Familiarity with warehouse procedures and best practices.
