About the role

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join our Horsham or London office where your role will focus on preparing accounts for audit within the firm and manage the delivery of accounts work across the service line, ensuring team members adherence to required standards, where accounts work is complete on time to standard and within budget.

Responsibilities

  1. Prepare accounts for the audit team across the firm
  2. Control a portfolio of clients comprising individuals and owner managed businesses
  3. Prepare accounts for companies, partnerships, LLP’s, and sole traders
  4. Prepare corporation tax returns and computations
  5. Prepare partnership tax returns and adjusted profit computations
  6. Prepare personal tax returns and computations
  7. Review VAT returns
  8. Utilize online accounting packages
  9. Ensure the implementation of all relevant client work ensuring effective team workflow
  10. Arrange & lead accounts planning meetings to maximize implementation of immediate resources
  11. Supervise semi seniors & assistants involved in production and delivery of work
  12. Act as a key point of contact for nominated clients to manage all their compliance & other service requirements
  13. Experience with full FRS 102 accounts, IFRS accounts
  14. Experience in preparation of group accounts and consolidations including cashflow statements
  15. Experience in foreign subsidiary conversions including pre and post-acquisition reserves
  16. Experience in calculating minority interests
