Store Manager – Large format F&B Integrated Supermarket; Abu Dhabi and Dubai

Grandiose is a home-grown Retail chain giving its customers a different experience for shopping and dining in the UAE. The fast-growing dynamic business is looking for energetic, customer centric, business driven store managers for its new large size stores in the Dubai and Abu Dhabi locations.

Responsibilities

1. Lead and oversee the entire store's operations, including multiple departments and sections.
2. Implement strategic plans for the store's growth and success.
3. Devise and execute effective sales strategies and promotional campaigns for the supermarket.
4. Collaborate with marketing teams to create impactful advertising and marketing materials.
5. Engage with the local community through events, sponsorships, and partnerships.
6. Train, manage, and be a mentor for a diverse team of 60-80 employees.
7. Implement effective communication channels within the team.
8. Maintain high standards of customer service throughout the store.
9. Develop and enforce customer service policies and training programs.
10. Implement advanced inventory management systems to handle a large volume of products.
11. Optimize supply chain and distribution processes for efficiency.
12. Coordinate with suppliers and manage bulk orders efficiently.
13. Develop and manage a comprehensive budget considering the diverse range of products and services.
14. Analyze complex financial reports to make strategic decisions.
15. Implement sophisticated security measures, including surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies.
16. Develop emergency response plans for a complex environment where live cooking happens in the food avenue.
17. Manage relationships with a diverse group of suppliers and implement vendor performance metrics and quality control processes.
18. Implement rigorous standards for cleanliness and organization in a large physical space.
19. Oversee regular maintenance and renovations as needed.
20. Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with a large-scale operation.
21. Implement comprehensive safety protocols and crisis management plans.

Qualification & Experience

Must be a graduate with at least 10 years of experience in the supermarket business.
Must have a minimum of 4-5 years of experience as Store Manager/General Manager/Store Operations for large size supermarkets in the GCC market.
Must have experience working in Grocery/Fresh produce/Food Avenue.
