Store Keeper (Freshers)
Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and verify the quantity and quality of incoming stock.
- Organize and store materials, equipment, and supplies in designated locations.
- Keep accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, and deliveries.
- Issue stock to departments or customers as requested, ensuring proper documentation.
- Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need to be reordered.
- Conduct regular physical inventory checks and report discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the storage area.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in handling and storing goods.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate deliveries and stock movements.
Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling stock records.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items when necessary.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or store environment is a plus but not required.
