Store Keeper

Job Scope

The Store Keeper is accountable for overseeing the inbound operations and inventory management. S/He maintains communications with carriers, suppliers, warehouses, custom brokers and others involved in the shipping and delivery of goods ensuring optimal stock levels at all times.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify the quality and quantity of incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain proper storage conditions and organize materials systematically.
• Issue materials to production teams based on approved requisitions.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
• Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requests for replenishment.
• Coordinate with the procurement department for timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the storage area.
• Track and manage tools, machinery, and returnable items.
• Prepare and submit inventory reports and material consumption analysis.
  
  
  

Position Requirements

• Strong knowledge of materials used in Furnished Shelter, Generator enclosure, cabinet, Steel Diesel Tank manufacturing: steel, GI, PPGI, MS, AC units, DBs, electrical items, welding materials, and cables.
• Familiarity with material handling and storage procedures.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
  
  
  

Education

Higher secondary diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in storekeeping, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.

Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience.
