Roles & Responsibilities
- Monitor inventory levels.
- Forecasting parts needs and ordering parts to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Monitoring the current parts inventory.
- Receiving parts, including placing them into inventory and properly labelling them.
- Purchase the correct parts & overseeing special orders.
- Collaborating with workshop supervisor to ensure all parts are available for repair jobs.
- Supervising and training parts department staff members.
- Maintain clean and tidy workplace.
- Provide Service Department with proper parts and tools to perform vehicle repairs.
- Keep fast moving parts in stock while minimalizing obsolescence.
