Stocker
Job description
- Transport the merchandise and inventory from the receiving area to the selling area.
- Fill and arrange the items on shelves, and ensure the selling area is organized and displays as per the company merchandise policy.
- Place and maintain the necessary labels and price tags on items to ensure accurate labeling of items and correct pricing.
- Identify and segregate waste and damaged products on a daily basis while maintaining a record of the waste and damaged items.
- Identify slow moving items and sleeping stock in order to determine priority of expiry if applicable.
- Ensure products are facing the correct direction to guarantee maximum visibility.
- Participate in labeling surveys to ensure correct product pricing.
- Ensure the appropriate arrangements of the section space in the warehouse.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills.
- Adaptable in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent listening abilities.
- High attention to detail.
