JOB TITLE

Stock Controller | Majid Al Futtaim LifeStyle | Warehouse

ROLE SUMMARY

The Stock Controller will be responsible for effectively managing the back of house team, stock, and all products within the store, to ensure compliance with all Company Health & Safety and Security regulations. The role includes ensuring that the stock room is organized, and that stock is recorded correctly and available as per business requirements.

ROLE PROFILE

• Support store replenishment by preparing stock orders from the warehouse and maintaining accurate stock level records.
• Immediately report products with manufacturing defects to the buying, planning, and operations teams.
• Liaise with buying regarding returns from customers due to quality issues and follow up with the inventory control team to adjust stock against approved credit notes.
• Follow up with local vendors regarding replacements and repairs for customers.
• Ensure audits are completed as per Company requirements, and that discrepancies are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
• Train, coach, and develop new staff on stockroom standards as per company and brand processes and policies.
• Support internal teams as required with stock reservations, transfer requests, and inventory queries ensuring optimum customer focus.
• Manage stock take operations as per the company processes and policies.

REQUIREMENTS

• High school certificate
• 3-4 years’ experience in back of house and inventory management
• Organizational skills
• Attention to detail
