Job Title: Stewarding Supervisor
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the stewarding team in daily cleaning tasks and upkeep of kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure proper sanitation and cleanliness of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment and place orders as needed.
- Train, develop, and motivate stewarding staff to ensure high performance.
- Maintain records of cleaning schedules and reports, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and food and beverage departments to support daily operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and sanitation standards.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding cleanliness and service promptly and professionally.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a supervisory role in stewarding or a related field within a luxury hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong knowledge of hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards in the foodservice industry.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- A positive, proactive attitude and attention to detail.
