Job description
- Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitizing of all surfaces.
- Keeping floors and work areas clear of hazards and obstruction.
- Responsible for the operation of kitchen cleaning equipment.
- Must be able to compute chemical usage.
- Standing up and moving about in the kitchen or other designated areas handling objects, products, chemicals, cleaning supplies, and utensils.
- A working knowledge of equipment and associated chemicals.
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Passionate about maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school education certificate.
- Organized and a great team player.
- Previous experience as kitchen steward, preferably with hotels or restaurants.
