Job Opportunity

We are seeking talented Software Engineers at Senior and Staff levels to join our dynamic team. We're looking for engineers, doers, and systems thinkers who can contribute to building our cutting-edge fintech platform. We have multiple areas in the product with separate teams, including:

1. Frontend-focused
2. Node.js-focused
3. Go-focused

While familiarity with our stack is beneficial, we prioritize strong engineering skills and the ability to learn and adapt. The team you join will be a joint decision based on your skills, interests, and the needs of the product and organization.

Role Description and Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions across our technology stack.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features.
3. Lead by example in writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
4. Drive innovation and improvements in our development practices.
5. Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
6. Participate in code reviews and mentor junior team members.
7. For Staff level: Be the hands-on technical leader for a team (with the support of our Head of Engineering, Principal Engineers and Product Owners).

Frontend: Next.js
Backend: Node.js (experience layer), Go (system layer), Python (AI)
APIs: GraphQL, gRPC
Other technologies: Temporal, Kafka (Redpanda), PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Flux, Azure, Github

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a Software Engineer, with a strong background in one or more areas of our tech stack.
2. Ability to think in systems and approach problems holistically.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
4. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a distributed team environment.
5. Experience with cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, and testing.
6. Excitement to learn and adapt to new technologies as needed.

Nice to Have

1. Experience with multiple areas of our tech stack.
2. Knowledge of fintech, banking, or wealth management domains.
3. Familiarity with distributed system architectures.
