Staff Nurse - NICU

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our NICU team. The ideal candidate will provide critical care to newborn infants, ensuring compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

1. Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns in the NICU.
2. Monitor vital signs and assess the health status of neonates, promptly addressing any changes.
3. Administer medications, fluids, and other treatments as prescribed.
4. Educate and support families, providing emotional guidance and updates on their newborn's condition.
5. Ensure strict adherence to infection control practices and sterilization protocols.
6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality patient care.
7. Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
2. Valid nursing license (MOH/DHA/HAAD or eligibility preferred).
3. Minimum 2 years of experience in NICU.
4. Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP).
5. Experience in neonatal care is highly desirable.
6. Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
