Take over a key role as a Staff Accountant in the Finance department and be a part of this exciting adventure of never-ending growth and success.

What we expect from you:

1. Ensure timely booking of all invoices & payments and keep financial records updated
2. Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconcile financial accounts
3. Support in month-end and year-end closing process
4. Analyze financial discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
5. Execute accounts payable functions, ensuring timely payments
6. Support in preparing and submitting VAT returns in compliance with UAE regulations
7. Collaborate with internal departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities
8. Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and data
9. Ensure accurate recording of fixed assets and prepare depreciation schedules
10. Review and validate expense reports for compliance with company policies
11. Conduct bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
12. Contribute to the development of accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency
13. Maintain proper filing systems for accounting records and documentation
14. Support line manager and department head with any ad-hoc reports or requirements

What we are looking for:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Certifications are an added plus - ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in financial management, reporting, and analysis
• Proven track record of working in or with companies operating in the Middle East region

Knowledge:

• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS reporting standards, UAE/KSA tax regulations, and compliance
• Understanding of the business environment, cultural nuances, regulatory landscape, and market dynamics in Middle Eastern countries

Skills:

• Experience with reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Exceptional analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficient in Quickbooks, Zoho, Google Sheets, Power Bi and MS Excel
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• High level understanding of accounting principles and tax regulations

• Self-driven, proactive, and strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
• Strong focus on process improvement and continuous learning
