Responsible for the overall repair and maintenance operations of Non-Sterile Production & Packaging equipment.
Perform planned preventative maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime or reduction in efficiency.
Responsible for the overhauling and upgrading of old machines, if required.
Ensure that repair activities align with company policies and goals and meet or exceed machine maintenance requirements.
Ensure that activities carried out in the facility comply with the latest cGMP, Workplace Safety, Health, and other applicable regulations.
Develop requirements for capital equipment acquisitions as needed to meet department objectives.
Achieve cost-saving goals.
Ensure all maintenance reports are completed on time with no errors.
Responsible for the smooth running of all mechanical equipment and fulfilling the requirements of the Production/Packaging Department and Operations.
Report time and material consumed on job orders for requested work.
Prepare for internal and external audits with required records, data, preventive maintenance documents, and SOPs.
Ensure adherence to Good Automated Manufacturing Practice (GAMP) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice).
Ensure the maintenance of each equipment is carried out as per the support recommendations and instruction manual, including electrical and mechanical aspects.
Work on breakdowns through regular inspection and implementation on each related equipment.
Generate work completion reports, log books, and daily activity reports.
Complete log books of all maintenance (breakdown & preventive maintenance) carried out on each equipment for future reference.
Check daily notifications and job orders from the SAP Coordinator.
Coordinate with the SAP Coordinator to complete all pending notifications from different users and preventive maintenance.
Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical
Experience: At least 5-9 years’ experience in a similar organization in Pharmaceuticals is preferred, Food Industries.
Requirements:
Knowledgeable about all types of Non-Sterile Equipment, its parts, and operation.
Understands all aspects of pharmaceutical machinery installation and maintenance.
Strong knowledge of engineering and maintenance documents (GED - Good Engineering Documents).
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic processes.
Knowledge of PM/CM planning/scheduling & implementation including planned & unplanned maintenance concepts.
Knowledge of spare parts inventory, ordering, and maintaining the minimum reorder level (Critical Spare Parts Control).
Strong command of English (communicating, writing, and speaking).
