Sr. Solution Architect/NRM & Activation Support

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and operate Ericsson vEDA platform on OpenShift container environment
2. Execute and monitor subscriber provisioning and service activation workflows
3. Perform platform health monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance
4. Handle container lifecycle management and resource optimization
5. Implement and maintain automation for operational tasks
6. Support integration with external systems and APIs
7. Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
8. Participate in incident management and problem resolution
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams for service improvements
10. Support capacity planning and platform scaling initiatives
11. Manage backup and recovery operations
12. Monitor and optimize platform performance
13. Handle security compliance and updates
14. Support CI/CD pipeline operations

Qualifications:

1. Experience with Ericsson vEDA or similar telecom platforms
2. Proficiency in container technologies and microservices
3. Strong Linux administration skills
4. Scripting abilities (shell script, Python)
5. Knowledge of monitoring tools
6. Knowledge of APIs like SOAP, REST, etc.
7. Knowledge of integration of vEDA with several 3PP vendors such as Huawei, Alepo, Nokia, Cassandra, etc.
8. Telecommunications service activation processes
9. Subscriber provisioning workflows
10. BSS/OSS systems understanding
11. Network protocols and architectures
12. Cloud-native concepts and practices

Educational Qualification & Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with Minimum 8 years of experience in Telecom OSS/BSS and 3 years of experience with cloud-native platforms
2. Strong knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
3. Relevant certifications (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Cloud)
4. Experience in a 24x7 operation environment
5. Strong problem-solving abilities
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Team collaboration capabilities
8. Ability to work in shifts if required
