Position Overview: The Sr. Sales Manager is tasked with the ambitious goal of achieving a $100 million sales target. This executive role requires developing sophisticated business strategies and leading a dynamic team towards exceptional performance. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in surpassing high-value sales targets, alongside exemplary leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of sales tactics and market dynamics within the water and wastewater treatment industry is essential. This role demands a strategic thinker who can not only inspire and motivate a sales team but also drive substantial business growth through innovative approaches and steadfast commitment to results.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
Manage, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team to deliver exceptional results.
Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement by using standard tools.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and partnerships.
Collaborate with the marketing department to develop and execute marketing plans that support sales objectives.
Monitor and assess sales performance metrics to ensure the team meets or exceeds goals.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management (Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly in line with the annual sales projection).
Stay current with industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify opportunities for growth.
Regularly conduct weekly sales meetings, management meetings, and training sessions to ensure the continuous development and growth of team members.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. MBA is an advantage.
10 to 12 years of demonstrated experience in sales management or a comparable position within the water and wastewater treatment industry, with a total of 18-20 years of professional experience.
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
