Our client, a leading global media agency, is looking for a Senior Media Planner (Digital & offline) to be a part of their team in Dubai.
Responsibilities:
Delivers planning and optimization services.
Contributes to the development of target profiles/insights media plans (across media capabilities in the development of Strategy and Tactical Decks).
Client/Partner Engagement Responsibilities: Performs with oversight and coordinates with internal stakeholders and external partners.
May own client relationships and communication for small to midscale clients and occasionally communicate with mid to large scale clients.
Responsible for working with the wider planning team to ensure all client status documents, flowcharts, billing trackers are kept up to date on a weekly basis.
Brings innovative out-of-the-box ideas to clients and successfully sells through the value and relevance of innovative ideas.
Contributes to planning pacing and performance across platforms.
Demonstrates mastery of campaign setup and management in all channels.
Leads optimization and delivery against client KPIs.
Readily dives into data to identify trends and insights, then applies them in the form of media and creative recommendations.
Qualifications:
At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Media Planner in a media agency.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients.
Ability to write concise, reasoned, and inspired media presentations and present to clients with confidence.
A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound creative, strategic, and analytical thinking skills.
Ability to build and maintain strong interpersonal/professional relationships with employees, vendors, clients, etc.
Demonstrated strong command of Media Research resources, capabilities, and limitations.
Demonstrated self-confidence (and track record) in championing innovative, bold, and game-changing ideas.
Analytical thinker with the ability to apply critical thinking and analysis in writing.
Strong math and analytical skills with a working comprehension of strategy development and required media math.
Demonstrated understanding of consumer insights and how to put insights into action.
