Sr. Mechanical Draftsman

Looking for a hardworking and dedicated Sr. Mechanical Draftsman (HVAC) to join immediately.

Job Requirements:

1. Preparation of technical drawings based on rough sketches, specifications, and calculations from engineers, surveyors, architects, and MEP engineers.
2. Critically review relevant documents prior to the start of construction (e.g., IFC, Project Specification).
3. Check and correct work prepared by others to conform to standards, specifications, and design requirements.
4. Prepare finished drawings for construction work from sketches, specifications, and field notes.
5. Prepare MEP calculations for HVAC drawings, plumbing, piping, and small substation and electrical works.
6. Manage design change requirements, including but not limited to piping, plumbing, and firefighting design.
7. Identify any deviation in the design and provide justification for the deviation.
8. Experience in MEP design detailing.
9. Report to design manager as well as MEP manager for smooth coordination of design work.
10. Be able to prepare quick, simple, and accurate hand calculations to check the designs of others.

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Mechanical drafting in UAE: 7 years (Preferred)
