Dyson is about better ideas and better technologies; as the Ecommerce Manager you will play a significant role in bringing our eCom and digital vision to life in leading the 3rd party eCom/marketplaces strategy and operations for MEA.

About the role

At Dyson, our Owner is central to everything we do, and your role will ensure that owners are getting a fantastic experience via our e-commerce partners. The Ecommerce Manager/Sr. Ecommerce Manager will be at the helm of driving continuous digital customer journey improvements; you will help deliver the strategic direction of the digital business. You are expected to work closely with a network of digital, marketing, logistics, and sales colleagues based in Dyson’s global as well as local functions. Working with a cross-functional team, you will be accountable for the performance of our e-com/pureplayer business.

Key responsibilities:

  • Set strategy and direction for Ecommerce/Marketplaces both existing and new and work cross-functionally to bring this to life.
  • Team Management: build, nurture, and enable a high-performing team.
  • P&L Management: Work with partners across the business to deliver annual, quarterly, and weekly targets, partnering closely with both supply chain on stock availability and plans and finance to ensure we are delivering commercial targets.
  • Account Management: Be the lead on account management and the primary point of contact for our 3rd party eCom/Pureplayer business, managing complex groups of demanding external stakeholders.
  • 3rd party owner experience: Work with stakeholders to ensure we are delighting owners at every touchpoint with Dyson, focusing on driving registrations and live digital demos within 3rd party eCom/pureplayer settings.
  • Be the voice of the market in ensuring timely input to optimizations and NPD for 3rd party eCom.
  • Project lead for key seasonal moments: Ensure we have great cross-functional plans for key peak moments on the web business (e.g., Summer Heat Wave, Black Friday, etc.).
  • Digital expert within the broader MEA Market business, sharing digital trends, insights, and recommended actions.

About you

  • Owner-first mindset: Understand and think first and foremost about what these plans and actions do for our owner experience.
  • Proven team leader and people manager with experience managing and leading teams, nurturing talent, and managing poor performance as needed.
  • Proven Sales Track Record: 6-10 years of sales experience in account management and leading negotiations, ideally in digital and a premium branded setting.
  • Resilience: Ability to remain positive and have a bias for action despite tough external circumstances.
  • Long-term focus: Ability to see the long-term vision for the total Dyson organization and make day-to-day calls to bring that to life.
  • Strategic thinker: Proven ability to set and implement digital strategy while leading a team.
  • Comfortable with complexity and change: Ability to navigate a matrix structure and react quickly to make changes based on the latest market trends and dynamics.
  • Team player: Comfortable working with diverse teams across the organization and navigating a matrixed organization.
  • Strong communicator: Able to clearly communicate commercial and technical topics in simple layman’s terminology.
