KIKO Milano is a leading cosmetics company, and we are seeking a highly motivated Senior HRBP who can manage and support our retail operation and its employees across the region on all HR aspects but not limited to: Employees relations, talent acquisition and development, performance management, payroll as well as development of HR practices and processes.
Role: Senior HR Business Partner
Reports to: Head of HR - MEA
Location: Dubai, UAE
Main Responsibilities
The Senior HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives. This role drives organizational effectiveness, improves workforce performance, and provides guidance on HR policies, talent management, and employee relations. The Senior HRBP will work closely with other HR peers, departments, and key stakeholders to deliver HR solutions that foster a positive work culture and support business growth.
Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and plans that support the business and department objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on HR best practices, policies, and employment laws to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
- Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Talent Acquisition and Management:
- Manage and assist in the organization of training seminars and nominations in coordination with other HR peers.
- Review internal and external applicants' CVs, conduct interviews and needed assessments.
- Support the Talent Acquisition and the retail team with any recruitment including recruitment campaigns.
- Conduct and perform reference and background checks for potential employees.
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Retail teams to oversee recruitment strategies and attract top talent to the organization.
- Roll out the development and the execution of talent development programs to enhance skills and leadership capabilities with the collaboration of the local and global HR teams.
- Foster a performance-driven culture by advising on performance management, succession planning, and career development.
- Oversee employee assessments including probation period and subsequent confirmation of employment.
- Design with the support of the retail team PIP and PDP plans.
Employee Relations:
- Guide employees on their onboarding from offer letter, visa/labour card processing, rules and regulations, and the resources available to them.
- Provide an effective employee relations service including advising and participating in disciplinary and grievance and conflict resolution when required.
- Manage Employees Relations when required and ensure retention.
- Manage all local compliance matters including nationalization.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for managers and employees on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, grievances, and disciplinary matters.
- Advocate for a positive workplace culture by addressing employee concerns, fostering open communication, and promoting diversity and inclusion.
- Oversee, approve and develop payroll operations.
Organizational Development:
- Work with Head of HR-MEA to evaluate and structure the workforce to meet evolving business needs.
- Lead change management initiatives and support the integration of new HR programs, systems, or processes.
HR Analytics and Reporting:
- Use data and analytics to provide insights on workforce trends, retention, engagement, and productivity.
- Develop and present HR reports to leadership, making recommendations for improvements based on data findings.
Project Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Lead HR initiatives and projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business priorities as directed by the Head of HR-MEA.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance overall service delivery.
People Management:
- Lead and manage the HRBP team and Sr. Payroll Officer, ensuring the team's effectiveness in delivering HR and payroll services across the organization.
- Manage, engage and guide the HR team including effective recruitment, coaching and mentoring, training, performance assessment and appraisal etc.
- Oversee the performance and professional development of the Sr. Payroll Officer, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes and compliance with labor laws.
- Handle Performance Management cycle as directed by the Head of HR-MEA and Talent & Development Partner.
- Provide mentorship and strategic guidance to other HRBPs and HR team members to ensure consistency and alignment across the business and countries.
- Coach and manage the HR team on all HR related matters.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 7+ years of experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a senior HRBP role or similar capacity.
- Strong knowledge in Payroll, HR policies, labor laws, employee relations, and performance management.
- Proven experience in talent management, organizational development, and change management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
- Expertise in employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development.
- Data-driven approach with a strong understanding of HR analytics and metrics.
- Ability to manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are a plus.
- Fluency in English is a must.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with frequent travel required.
