Position Title: HR Specialist
Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Summary:
The HR Specialist will coordinate all Human Resource processes within the company. Working closely with employees and management, this role provides administrative support in various HR functions, including employee engagement, recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, employee relations, learning and development, visa processing, and general HR operations.
Key Job Accountabilities:
Recruitment & Selection:
- Support the recruitment and selection function, including coordinating with the recruitment team, booking interviews, and processing contracts.
- Recruit household staff, apply for visas, and onboard employees by managing flight bookings and health insurance applications.
- Add employees to the payroll, and coordinate with finance for salary payments.
- Maintain employee leave records, prepare leave salaries, and handle all recruitment documentation.
Performance Management:
- Assist in implementing performance management systems, including monitoring probation periods and performance appraisals.
- Work with the HR Director on yearly increments and employee development plans.
- Ensure accurate management of monthly payroll and related compensation processes.
- Coordinate with finance for processing of salaries, leave entitlements, and other benefits.
- Manage employee compensation packages and ensure competitive benchmarking.
Employee Relations:
- Address grievances, disciplinary matters, and employee concerns in coordination with the HR Director.
- Maintain employee records and files both in hard copy and on the company server.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and HR policies.
Learning & Development:
- Work with the HR Director to design and deliver onboarding programs, employee wellness plans, and training initiatives.
- Develop awareness programs, HR templates, and employee newsletters to enhance engagement.
- Support the implementation of HR projects aimed at improving employee development and satisfaction.
HR Information Systems (HRIS):
- Input and update employee data into the HRIS system, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
- Work with payroll to resolve queries and process payments such as honorariums.
- Provide the HR Director with updates on HRIS issues and employee-related queries.
- Process various types of visas, including employment and residency visas for employees and guests.
- Liaise with the Government Relations Officer for immigration tasks and ensure all documents are prepared accurately.
- Stay updated on amendments to laws and regulations, and communicate changes to the HR department.
Administration & Support:
- Provide administrative support to the HR team, including file maintenance, document processing, and answering queries.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, employee service awards, and monthly disciplinary tracking.
- Work closely with the HR Director and Recruitment Manager to deliver HR projects and ensure successful onboarding.
Requirements:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- 7 to 12 years of experience in an HR department, preferably in a multi-functional business environment.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Intermediate to Expert).
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Arabic (speaking and writing) is preferred.
