Sr. Executive Air Freight – Export

We are looking for a highly skilled Sr. Executive Air Freight – Export to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have 4-6 years of professional experience in air freight operations within the UAE, with a strong preference for those with exposure to the shipping and logistics industry. Experience with IATA/CASS, Calogi, and a strong client base in the region is essential. The role requires a self-starter who can efficiently handle air freight export operations, build client relationships, and ensure a seamless service experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end air freight export operations, including documentation, cargo handling, and coordination with carriers, agents, and clients.
• Handle bookings, space allocation, and rate negotiations with airlines to ensure cost-effective solutions.
• Prepare and process all necessary documentation, such as Air Waybills (AWB), export declarations, and customs paperwork, in compliance with local and international regulations.
• Maintain strong relationships with key accounts, providing high-level service to retain and grow business.
• Utilize and manage Calogi and other relevant platforms for shipment tracking, costing, and invoicing.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with IATA/CASS guidelines and industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth coordination of shipments and timely delivery of services.
• Proactively identify and resolve any operational or service-related issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to expand the client base and increase market share.
• Prepare and present regular reports on shipment status, costs, and client satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field is preferred.
• 4-6 years of professional experience in air freight export operations in the UAE.
• Experience in the shipping & logistics industry with a solid understanding of air freight regulations and procedures.
• Proficiency in IATA/CASS regulations and handling Calogi or similar platforms is mandatory.
• Existing client base and strong network within the UAE air freight sector is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle high-volume shipments and work under pressure.
• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other logistics software.
