Sr. Engineer (Package Equipment)

Job Description DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Receives allocated duties & studies client documentation & Scope of Work.
2. Creates drawings & documents register.
3. Prepares specifications & datasheets.
4. Co-ordinates with the DOC.
5. Prepares the PR.
6. Undertakes technical evaluations.
7. Conducts site surveys.
8. Reports on work progress.
9. Provides man-hour estimates for bids.
10. Prepares materials take-offs.
11. Inputs for planning package.
12. Reviews “as built” drawings.
13. Trains Entry Level Engineers.
14. Ensures compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.

Skills Required MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. B.Sc. in Engineering, preferably M. Sc. in Mechanical.
2. 8 years of Engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably with an EPC Contractor in the field of:

• Upstream oil & gas design facilities, including: separation, oil, gas & water conditioning processes and associated equipment, preferably offshore.
• Ancillary facilities and equipment associated with oil and gas industry, preferably offshore.

• Process;
• Instrumentation and control;
• Piping;
• Electrical.

• Hydraulic processes and equipment;
• Associated equipment (rotating & static);
• Thermodynamic processes, gas compression and conditioning;
• Stress, strain and mechanical vibration analysis on oil & gas equipment;
• Lifting equipment used in oil & gas industry;
• Drivers and their characteristics;
• Good knowledge of upstream oil & gas applied processes, including separation, gas conditioning, water disposal, etc. equipment selection and integration.
