Job Purpose:
- Undertake various Discipline (Electrical/Instrumentation) activities related to various equipment for Projects in Onshore and Offshore locations.
- Role holder would be under minimum supervision of his Supervisor.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Undertake visual inspections for construction completion of various equipment in projects related to the discipline.
- Arrange necessary tools and tackles.
- Undertake preventive checks on various equipment in projects and intimate immediate supervisor regarding requirement of any additional tools/test equipment to undertake day-to-day activities.
- Working/testing of electrically live panels.
- Undertake preventive maintenance checks for the equipment.
- Generate reports on the activities undertaken including the measurement of required parameters.
- Submit the records generated while undertaking field activities to designated persons.
- Job performer to execute various discipline activities as assigned under PTW.
- Compliance in accordance with HSE Standard.
Communications and Working Relationships:
- Should be of a flexible nature to maintain a good level of relation with commissioning team members, with PMT members and with Client commissioning team members.
Framework, Boundaries, Decision Making Authority and Responsibility:
- Direct reporting to the Commissioning Supervisor / Engineer.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 12-year vocational education with minimum 10 year experience Or Diploma in Electrical / Instrumentation with 8 year experience.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge of various testing tools and measuring instruments to be used in the field.
- Understanding of various basic discipline documents.
